I’m a Virtual Assistant. Since 2008 I was regularly hired by a consulting firm to do online research work for project feasibility studies that they prepare as part of the marketing plan for their clients. It was something I enjoyed doing because of the wealth of knowledge I was gaining in the process.

Last year (2011) I worked remotely for eight months with a travel agency who hired me to prepare tour itineraries for the different Pilgrimage-Heritage Churches in the Philippines. It was a project I did in cooperation with the Filipino Heritage Festival, Inc. (an organization tasked to raise consciousness for Filipino cultural heritage) and the Department of Tourism of the Philippines.

That was a big project for me because I travelled all over the Philippines – ONLINE!

It was exciting learning so much about our country – its history, culture and heritage.

Last month (July 2012), a friend sponsored me to a Virtual Assistant Seminar. I learned so much from it, in fact I could say it was a life changing experience. Little did I know that for the past four years I was already working as a Virtual Assistant!

The seminar opened up to me a lot of possibilities for working online as a VA. Armed with additional skills I learned from the seminar, I have decided to pursue a career as a Virtual Assistant.

By the way, you might want to check out my oDesk Profile or send me an email at aguasfelisa@gmail.com.

I would be happy to hear from you.
